Met a guy named Doug Mallach the other day and we got to talking about Darkness on the Edge of Town for some reason. Can't remember exactly how it went. Anyways, if that's not the best Springsteen album ever, i'm missing something. I know most people would say born to run, but Darkness is more raw. By Doug, you're right--it is the best Springsteen!
