Winkler advertising was building some workflow software in-house. They contacted me to help out with the user interface and design issues. What was supposed to be a simple online application of course soon became incredibly complex. The UI issues alone were mind-boggling. How do users find files? How do they post them? How do they approve, share, comment, and so forth on a virtual file system accessed only through web pages?

I helped the project's lead with an MRD and PRD, plus worked with the engineers to unpack what was do-able and what wasn't. Susannah Bettag did the design work on the interface, and we delivered final graphics and html templates for integration with the site's engine.
